How to get help

Start with the FAQ below for the common questions App Store and everyday riders ask. If you still need a hand, email us — we aim to reply within two business days.

FAQ

TripMate focuses on Sydney trains and metro first. That’s the core commute network the app is built for — clear departures, platforms, and trip guidance for daily riders.

Yes. TripMate requires Sign in with Apple. There’s no guest mode — signing in keeps your preferences, Premium status, and trip history tied to you securely.

When you’re on an active trip, sleep alarm can wake you before your destination. You’ll get an alert about two stops before you need to get off, so you don’t ride past your station.

Premium removes ads and unlocks saved trips. It’s A$1.99 per month or A$9.99 per year. The free tier still includes the commute toolkit; Premium just clears the ads and lets you save trips for faster repeats.

Open TripMate, go to Settings, and use Restore Purchases after signing in with the same Apple ID you used to buy Premium. If something still looks wrong, email us with the Apple ID email you subscribed with (no passwords).

To leave an active trip, use the in-app controls on the trip screen. Subscriptions are managed through the App Store: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or account.apple.com. You can cancel auto-renew there anytime.

Location (GPS) powers the map, nearest stations, and active-trip guidance. Station distance calculations run on-device where possible. We ask only for what the commute features need — see Privacy Policy for the full picture.

Account and data controls live in TripMate → Settings. Use the in-app options there to export or delete your account. If you can’t reach those controls, contact support and we’ll help.
